The Pasarelas Verdes group has worked for the last 5 years together with the Neighborhood Board of the sector, managing and executing neighborhood and public activities for the revaluation and reuse of the San Borja walkways, such as cleaning days, planting days, live music sessions, heritage tours, design fairs, idea contests for architecture students, vegetable gardens, etc. In addition, together with the Neighborhood Board, Pasarelas Verdes applied for municipal funds to improve the walkways with furniture, plant species, awnings, garbage cans, terraces, irrigation systems, among others.
The Pasarelas del Barrio San Borja have the potential to be transformed into a public access park and promenade, providing new green areas and recreational spaces for the residents of the San Borja neighborhood as well as for the general public.
We developed the brand of the Green Walkways of San Borja inspired by the architecture of the place. Based on field visits and photographs, we captured the formal essence of the structures that make up the walkways. The resulting isotype is simple and figurative: a block, representing a tower, and a diagonal cut representing the ascending figure of a connecting bridge.
The current site of Pasarelas Verdes, the second we developed for them, is a small platform that informs the milestones that frame the project: the place, the genesis of the project, and its members. The main objective is to serve as a repository of information and a platform to promote the dissemination of their public competitions.
The site has been designed in a responsive way, allowing its adaptation to multiple devices.
CONSEIL GOODDAY is in charge of the design of all the green gateways dissemination pieces. All the activities developed in the catwalks, both the tocatas, design fairs, and architecture competitions, have been disseminated with designs developed by us. We have sought to convey through photographs of the catwalks a corporate image that crosses all the pieces of dissemination in print and electronic media.
CONSEIL GOODDAY also developed its own brand for the last Architecture and Landscape Ideas Competition for the San Borja Footbridges and its surroundings, launched in 2018. The idea was to be able to dress the event with its own character, linked to the rest of the graphics but with greater relevance. The color yellow was chosen as a distinctive element in the event’s brand design, which rescued the same concept of using the diagonals that make up the structures of the bridges, but representing other views.
The main means of dissemination of Pasarelas Verdes is through its digital platforms. Delivering all our vast experience in working in social networks as a platform for brand diffusion, Buendía has developed the art and design of all the images that the catwalks team uses mainly on Facebook and Instagram.
